Smoothies are a quick and easy way to get in loads of nutrients and fuel. They also taste amazing if you nail that combination of ingredients.
I always like to add a source of protein and fat to my smoothies to buffer the influx of sugar from the fruit. This also helps keep you fuller for longer! Adding chunks of whole fruit also helps activate your digestive system through chewing.
